IMG’S TRANS-BRIDGE LINES DONATES 5 BUSES TO LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS FOR RESCUE TRAINING

Recently, Trans Bridge Lines donated 5 buses to local fire departments for rescue training purposes, which includes bus extrication. Extrication techniques to remove windows, windshields, and doors on buses are considered more basic, but they, too, require additional training. The local department recipients included Greenawalds Fire Department, Upper Macungie Township Fire Department, Easton Fire Department and Bethlehem Fire Department.

Easton’s Deputy Fire John Price was very grateful for the donation of Bus 996. Easton Fire Department has never had a full size bus to practice rescues on.
