CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF SERVICE IN HAWAII

It was in 1977, Bob George and Don Brown began Poly Ad with four, fifteen passenger vans taking guests from Waikiki around the island of Oahu and to historic Pearl Harbor. These early tours innovatively used specially-trained drivers as narrators and guides. Ten years later, Poly Ad expanded its operations to the neighboring islands of Maui, Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii, initially to support One Day Flyaway Tours from Oahu and later island-specific land tours were introduced.

In 1986, large capacity Crown and MCI Motorcoaches were added to the Poly Ad fleet allowing the company to increase their capacity for sightseeing tours and eventually charter services for large scale movements. Poly Ad joined the International Motor Coach Group (IMG) family in 2010.

Company President, Sandra Weir remarked: “Throughout Poly Ad’s past 40 years, we have sought to meet the needs of our customers – and in doing developed the skills, company culture, and expertise necessary to succeed – all in the spirit of aloha.”

Today, Poly Ad also leads the industry with custom charters and cruise ship services and manages a comfortable, diverse fleet of full-size motor coach and mini coaches, plus open air double-decker buses. Known for providing exceptional customer service, Poly Ad’s employees are highly trained and skilled with many years of experience and drivers are among the most highly regarded in Hawaii. In 2018, Poly Ad is honored to be one of four tour companies awarded concession contracts to operate tours in Haleakala National Park on Maui.
