Gray Line of Tennessee adds new motorcoaches to keep up with Nashville’s booming growth

transportation provider in the Southeast, Gray Line is keeping up with the demand of the city’s popularity as a top ranking destination. Gray Line’s new vehicle purchases couldn't have come at a better time, meeting the demand of Nashville’s double digit growth in visitation.

Four new 2014 Volvo 9700 coaches were put into service in January, and five new 2015 Prevost H3-45 were added in March; delivery of a sixth new 2015 Prevost H3-45 will take place next month. All of these luxury coaches are fully appointed with state-of-the art technology and six are equipped with ADA accessibility.

These new vehicles will improve and expand Gray Line’s ability to service the transportation needs of the convention and leisure groups, corporate customers, collegiate and professional sporting teams, and the city’s visiting tourists.

“Gray Line is a valuable partner in the hospitality industry,” said Butch Spyridon, President & CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation. “Their emphasis on service and their understanding of our visitor’s expectations is important to our continued success as a destination.”

Chuck Abbott, Gray Line of Tennessee CEO, said, “We recognize the vital nature of transportation as part of the city’s growth and success, and we clearly understand our contribution.  This investment in new equipment is just the beginning.”
