IMG’s TRANS-BRIDGE LINES EMPLOYEE DISTINCTION

2015 Employee of Distinction.  Mike was chosen in close competition among several other deserving employees.  The Employee of Distinction program honors employees who have earned special recognition for their dedication and commitment to their company.  Mike was recognized at the PBA’s annual awards reception at the Spooky Nook in Manheim, PA on Tuesday, March 29.

Mike started working as a mechanic for Trans-Bridge Lines on April 11, 1988, and now, as he approaches his 28th year of employment, he holds the position of first class shift leader.

He is a mentor to our younger mechanics, and he has achieved a Perfect Attendance Award for 2015.  Mike has gained a considerable amount of knowledge and has kept pace with the many changes in the inter-workings of the motorcoach, including being proficient and mastering his laptop to help diagnose the trouble codes that we encounter.  Mike has become our go-to guy for troubleshooting electrical issues on our coaches.

Additionally, Mike has participated in seminars and attended numerous training classes throughout his career, including multiple visits to MCI’s facilities in Blackwood, NJ and Louisville, KY.  Mike has been credited with completing training and earning certificates in advanced technical tune up, wheelchair lifts, brake inspection, wheel seal installation, tire inspection, refrigerant recycling and is a certified safety inspector.
